The Tai Chi Research Centre Germany (TCFZ) was officially registered as an association with the City of Munich on 15 October 2010.
The Tai Chi Research Centre Germany sees itself as a competent point of contact and a reliable guide for anyone interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and martial arts. Working together with grandmasters and experienced medical practitioners, it has developed performance-enhancing martial arts exercises and effective treatment methods for all kinds of ailments.
The centre’s cooperation partners include the Chinese Medicine Association, the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, the Chinese Wushu Association, the renowned Chenjiagou Taiji Research Centre, and the Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital (HMQH). This close collaboration ensures that all treatments and exercises reflect the latest state of research while upholding the principles of TCM and the internal martial arts.
The centre offers instruction for both beginners and advanced practitioners. In addition, it provides further training in TCM, qualification programmes for Qigong or Tai Chi teachers, and intensive competition training. The high standards of quality and effectiveness that characterise all courses and treatments also apply to the directly imported teas and herbs. The centre also organises cultural and study trips to China for members who wish to deepen their knowledge there.
