Internal Martial Art (Tai Chi Chuan)
Guiding the Flow of Energy
Tai Chi Chuan is a traditional Chinese martial art. It combines the philosophy of Tai Chi (the primal principle underlying all existence, from the infinitely small to the boundlessly vast) with the knowledge of TCM and Daoist alchemy (Qigong). Because Tai Chi Chuan relies not on mere muscular strength but primarily on the body’s own energy, it is regarded in China as one of the internal martial arts.
Through Tai Chi Chuan, one learns to enhance the flow of energy in the meridians and to direct it consciously. The sequences of movements serve both to improve one’s health and to acquire martial‑arts skills. Regular practice refines coordination and motor skills, supports essential bodily functions, and brings body, mind, and spirit into harmony.
